The Faculty of Technical Sciences is currently participating in a professional conference on energy independence: A guide to building PVPs for own use.

Building photovoltaic power plants for self-consumption brings numerous advantages to companies. In challenging times of rising electricity prices, own PVPs can be a significant source of savings in consumption by achieving a certain degree of independence from energy companies. In the long term, own PVPs represent a useful investment in terms of reducing the negative impact on the environment and achieving high standards of energy efficiency, which will also bring companies lower CO2 emission taxes in the future. Numerous experts in the field of renewable energy sources and energy efficiency will speak about these topics at the event, as well as company representatives through their own practical examples, and representatives of the University have been invited to participate in it. Within the framework of the event, a panel discussion will also be held, which will be moderated by Aleksandar Jegdić, Secretary of the Regulatory Commission for Energy of the Republika Srpska.
