PUBLIC CALL FOR ENROLLMENT — ACADEMIC YEAR 2026/2027 
Based on the official decision of the Rector of the “Privredna akademija” University Brčko district BiH and with the consent of the University’s Board of Directors, a special enrollment program for candidates from police and security structures for the 2026/2027 academic year has been approved.
This decision approves the enrollment of a total of 200 candidates, i.e., 100 candidates each for the study programs:
Bachelor of Road and Urban Traffic Engineering — 240 ECTS
Bachelor of Laws in Criminalistics and Security — 240 ECTS.The right to apply belongs exclusively to candidates up to 28 years of age who are enrolling in the first year of faculty for the first time and who belong to police, security, or other related structures of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Croatia, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
We especially emphasize that applications last ONLY 6 DAYS, i.e., from 06/08/2026 to 06/13/2026.
After the expiration of the stated deadline, applications will not be considered, nor will it be possible for candidates to join this special enrollment program subsequently. The University’s Student Service will work under a special operating regime exclusively during the stated week, in accordance with the decision of the Rector and the University’s Board of Directors.
Due to experiences from previous years, when an extremely large number of applications arrived from several countries in the region, the University recommends that candidates submit their applications IN PERSON at the University’s Student Service counter.
Candidates who submit their documentation in person will be issued a confirmation that the application has been duly received and recorded in the University’s official records.
Applications by mail will be accepted only if they are delivered within the deadline and in a sealed envelope marked:„APPLICATION FOR SPECIAL ENROLLMENT PROGRAM — DO NOT OPEN”.
Along with the application, candidates are required to submit complete documentation prescribed by the University’s decision and the Student Service rules.
The ranking of candidates will be carried out based on the results of the entrance exam, success in high school, additional certificates, and special achievements of the candidates.
All candidates will be invited to a mandatory entrance exam, and the final ranking list will be determined by a special University commission.
For the first 100 candidates with the best average, the University approves a special financial support model, according to which the tuition fee for the first year of study is only 1,500 KM.
The University especially emphasizes that the exemption from the majority of the tuition fee does not imply exemption from teaching, academic, examination, and other obligations during the study.
Studies will be realized through a combined teaching model, adapted to employed persons and candidates who want to balance work, service, and higher education.
The “Privredna akademija” University Brčko district BiH develops a modern European concept of higher education through a combination of discipline, expertise, justice, security, and professional development of future personnel. Special emphasis is placed on the education of personnel who will in the future represent the pillar of security institutions and systems of the region.The Road and Urban Traffic program is aimed at educating experts for modern traffic systems, traffic safety, and infrastructure management of the future.
