The Faculty of Technical Sciences attended the fair and promotion of deficit occupations today titled “In-demand occupations for a secure job” organized by the Regional Chamber of Commerce of Bijeljina.

The shortage of labor is one of the main challenges facing the economy, and the main reason for this trend is the insufficient information provided to students and their parents about the opportunities and advantages that these professions offer, as well as the absence of quality practical training during schooling.

By improving practice and introducing modern technologies into the teaching process, students will get the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge and skills that will prepare them for the labor market and ensure stable employment after completing their education.

The goal of this project is to provide direct assistance to high school centers in the form of funds necessary for the education of deficit occupations, as well as to improve cooperation between educational institutions and business entities. Also, by raising awareness about the importance of these professions through such events, business entities and schools can encourage young people to consider a career in deficit sectors, which will contribute to the development of the economy and the provision of labor for key industries in the long term.
